Everyday essentials
Toothbrushes, toothpaste, ointment, hand sanitizer, body wipes, and shampoo.
Care takes consistency. Here is where we are today, what your support helps make possible, and where we hope to go next.

Founder estimates, September 2026. Overall participation includes different kinds of involvement and is not an active volunteer count.
Our work begins with hygiene essentials, meals, and the practical work of bringing students and supplies together. As we grow, we’re also preparing new chapters and developing future initiatives.
Detailed spending figures and allocation reports will be shared when reviewed. For current financial information or a sponsorship conversation, get in touch.

We’re working toward a community of 400 to 500 students as Texas A&M, Baylor, and DeBakey chapters launch.
Our outreach plan aims for two events each month in each city, with 100 to 200 care kits at an event. Houston chapters share one city total. Dallas and Austin are also expansion goals, with launch timing still to be determined. The calculator lets you explore up to five cities.

Planning scenario, not a commitment. Assumes local demand, funding, supplies, partners, and student capacity. Counts distributions, including repeat support, not unique people or health outcomes.
Our current outreach is the foundation. These developing areas bring different student interests and professional experience to the same purpose.
Care bags, meals, and regular contact with neighbors are the starting point. Students learn to listen and understand barriers to care.
Build relationships with qualified clinicians and community services, strengthen student preparation, and explore appropriate referral support.
More reliable outreach, a clearer understanding of community needs, and a better prepared student team.
Plans will be updated as funding, partners, and student capacity develop.
Our two year vision starts with foundations and grows with local demand, funding, partners, and student capacity. Timing may change as we learn.
Strengthen chapter leadership, organize supplies, set shared outreach standards, and begin advisor and partner conversations.
Refine the outreach playbook, gather community feedback, and prepare new chapters for consistent, locally supported work.
Build reliable outreach in Houston, College Station, and Waco, while preparing future expansion into Dallas and Austin. Develop dental and research initiatives, and pilot mental health education and referral activities with qualified partners.
Support reliable outreach schedules, strengthen student training, and evaluate what is working before extending developing programs.
Review community and partner feedback, publish transparent updates, pursue research outputs, and shape the next chapter around evidence and need.
If Houston runs two events a month for the first six months, followed by three city hubs for eighteen months, that would mean 120 events. At 100 to 200 kits per event, the scenario amounts to 12,000 to 24,000 care kit distributions.
The six month transition is a modeling assumption, not a confirmed launch date. Distributions may reach the same person more than once. These are not estimates of unique people, health outcomes, or people housed.

Led by Haleema Bawany, our proposed Psychiatry & Mental Health initiative will help students serve with greater understanding and connect neighbors with qualified support.
This is an estimate that will be updated. BridgeCare does not currently offer psychiatric treatment. Licensed professionals would provide any future clinical assessment or treatment.
Our research ambition is to develop one published paper with two or three more in progress over the two year period. Publication depends on the quality of the work, appropriate review, and editorial decisions.
Dental development and awareness work will grow alongside this effort. We’ll measure progress through what we deliver and what students, neighbors, and partners tell us.
